Sunday, November 16, 2008: The awards for the 2008 NYC Horror Film Festival were announced at the Tribeca Cinemas in New York City. The festival featured twelve programs, with eleven feature films in competition, as well as some twenty-eight short films. At the conclusion of the final program, the final film DEVIL’S GROVE not being one of the films in competition, the filmmakers, special guests, and fans, gathered into the lounge for Micheal J. Hein, festival director, and Joseph B. Mauceri, Programming Director, to announce the judges’ and audience’s decisions.
