{Hollywood Reporter} - Call it "cult meets cult." Shout! Factory, the independent DVD supplier known for its affinity for cult movies and TV shows, has secured worldwide home entertainment and digital download rights to the long-running cult TV series "Mystery Science Theater 3000."

The multiyear deal gives Shout! Factory exclusive physical and electronic distribution rights to all "Mystery Science Theater 3000" branded properties -- including a vast library of original episodes that have never before been issued on DVD or available for digital download.

{Hollywood Reporter} - John Noble has been tapped as one of the three leads in "Fringe," Fox's high-profile sci-fi drama from J.J. Abrams, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci.

"The Wire" co-star Lance Reddick also has been cast in the project produced by Warner Bros. TV and Abrams' Bad Robot.

{Variety} -  "Flushed Away" helmer David Bowers has been tapped to direct CG-animated pic "Astro Boy." He replaces Colin Brady, who was previously announced as helmer of the $50 million project.
