NoKnownSurvivors.com is back with the premiere of its second story, “13: A Friend Is A Present You Give Yourself”.  Throughout the next four weeks, users will explore the TUB and assume the POV of deranged TUB worker Gavin who has violently murdered his co-worker and good friend Dennis.  Another one of his good friends and co-workers, Stefan, is hiding in fear.  Users discover clues and take cues from control terminals, the bulletin board and Gavin himself to find out the relationship between the three men, and follow along with the story as we chronicle their eventual demise.

Things turn deadly this week on the Ishimura, as Dead Space’s NoKnownSurvivors.com wraps up the fourth chapter in Misplaced Affection, and we’d love it if you could give NKS some editorial support.  In this tragic animated conclusion, witness Greggs losing his mind over Gauthier’s detached fingers, as CECL-RC plays an archived transmission from better times.

In two weeks when they kick off the second content track at NKS, “13: A Friend Is A Present You Give Yourself”.  September 29th will bring a story of betrayal, violence, and murder set in the Ishimura’s TUB.

The tragedy continues at Dead Space’s NoKnownSurvivors, which just revealed the third chapter in their tragic tale of dementia and “Misplaced Affection”.  Chapter 3 brings us an animated vid-pic depiction of a date between Greggs and Gauthier and also gives a sneak peak of earth’s future history through Gathier’s background report.  io9 has the story and some exclusive images of the doomed lovers Greggs and Gauthier.

The DEAD SPACE online team have released two new videos for your enjoyment.  The first, the DEAD SPACE Comic Book Video #4, is the newest animated comic video to come out of Dead Space, and continues to follow the back story behind life on the Ishimura before it all went to hell.  You can view it on Newsarama, Craveonline, or on EA’s Dead Space site. 

Secondly, this past week the development guys released their newest Developer Diary, “Creating Terror”.

Banned DEAD SPACE Trailer Released in Europe at Midnight Last Night. PDF Print E-mail

A new banned DEAD SPACE video was released at midnight last night, and its a haunting portrayal of what’s to come in EA’s much anticipated horror/survival game, DEAD SPACE releasing October 21st.  The “Lullaby Trailer” was banned by the United States’ ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board), and therefore was only officially released in Europe.  However, thanks to the internet, here it is.  Set to a spookified track of “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star”, the trailer is loaded with incandescently lit rooms scattered with body parts, not-so-distant screams, and includes several gut-wrenching game play scenes depicting the protagonist Isaac being torn to shreds.  The trailer was created by EA’s in-house studio team, who are proud to present this terrifying portrayal of DEAD SPACE.  Watch it on Gametrailers, here: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/36332.html
