{Variety} - I'm as fond of the Indiana Jones franchise as anyone, and Harrison Ford making fun of his age when he is obviously in superb condition could be a fun running gag for boomers like me. But Lucas and Spielberg are smart enough to know that you have to throw in some new stuff to keep a series like this alive. Bringing back Karen Allen and adding Shia LaBeouf, Ray Winstone and Cate Blanchett is a good start, but....

{Hollywood Reporter} - "A History of Violence" producers Roger Kass and Josh Braun, Dark Sky Films and Larry Fessenden's Glass Eye Pix are partnering to produce the horror thriller "The House of the Devil."
The feature from writer-director Ti West ("Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever") will follow a young woman who takes on more than she bargained for in a babysitting job. Production is set to begin in Connecticut in mid-March, with casting now underway. |

{Hollywood Reporter} - 20th Century Fox has initiated a legal battle against Warner Bros. over the rights to develop, produce and distribute a film based on the graphic novel "Watchmen."
On Friday, the studio sued Warners, claiming it holds the exclusive copyrights and contract rights to "Watchmen." |

On Monday, Lucasfilm, Warner Bros. and Turner Broadcasting System announced that the animated movie "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" would hit movie theaters Aug. 15. |
