Zombie’s Hellbilly Deluxe II Pushed Back?

According to a post on theprp.com, Rob Zombie’s forthcoming album, Hellbilly Deluxe 2 – Noble Jackals, Penny Dreadfuls And The Systematic Dehumanization Of Cool, has been pushed back to a 2010 release. While the post says that it will be released through DGC, a source tells us that the record won’t be coming out on that label at all. Is Zombie starting his own label? Moving to another major? Going the Radiohead route and giving it to fans for free? Or just taking some time off from the album cycle (before it even starts) to work on his remake of The Blob? To be honest, we don’t know, and since none of it’s officially confirmed yet, this is all just conjecture, and you can still buy the album’s first single, “What?” on iTunes with the label listed as Geffen.
