In 1995 I received a review copy of a computer game titled “Dark of the Eye.” The game transported players into the universe of Edgar Allen Poe through adventures based on his stories "The Cask of Amontillado", "The Tell-Tale Heart", "Berenice" told from the perspectives of both murderer and victim, and the poem "Annabel Lee." I’ve search Poe’s writings and I believe he never used the term “Dark of the Eye” in any of his writings, but it is apropos, and I will explain shortly.
